Jacob Aguado

Jacob Aguado is entering his second year at UNT as a music education major and clarinet player. Jacob is from San Antonio. Outside of GB he enjoys playing frisbee, growing his faith, and spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about him is that he once performed in Carnegie Hall in New York! Jacob's pronouns are he/him.

Andrea Andrade

Andrea Andrade is beginning her second year at UNT as a music education major. She plays flute and is from Rockwall, Texas. Outside of Green Brigade, Andrea loves reading, rock climbing, biking, writing, playing ukulele, eating food, drinking coffee, and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about Andrea is that she lived in Mexico for half of her life, so her first language is Spanish. Andrea's pronouns are she/her. 

Ryan King-Drum Major
Ryan King

Ryan King is beginning his second year as Drum Major for Green Brigade and his third year as a music education major. Ryan plays saxophone and is from Mansfield, Texas. Outside of GB he enjoys being an avid board game player, teching for high school marching band, performing in WGI (Orion Winds) and DCI (Cavaliers), and playing with his dog Charlie. A fun fact about Ryan is that he once survived West Nile Virus. Ryan's pronouns are he/him.

Sidney Maurice

Sidney Maurice is entering her third year as a music education major and bassoon player at UNT. She spent the 2019 GB season as a field tech. Sidney is from Marietta, Georgia, and enjoys reading, trying new foods, fitness, and of course bassooning. A fun fact about her is that she speaks gibberish. Sidney's pronouns are she/her.

Amrutha Murthy

Amrutha Murthy is beginning her third year as a double major in flute performance and music education. She is from The Woodlands, Texas, and enjoys any athletic activity, reading, and visiting as many coffee shops as possible. A fun fact about her is that she is technically allergic to herself and has a condition called Dermatographia (Skin Writing). Amrutha acts as both Student Assistant for Operations and Logistics and Field Tech. Amrutha's pronouns are she/her.

Emmi Tinajero

Emmi Tinajero is entering her third year as an English Major and Music minor. She plays horn and mello and is from Arlington, Texas. Outside of band she enjoys watching movies, collecting and listening to records, and doing graphic design/digital art. A fun fact about her is that she has Grapheme-Color Synesthesia and formally gives anyone permission to come up to her and ask what color their name is. Amber Dyess is entering her third year at UNT as a Music Education major with a minor in Hospitality Management. Amber is from Kingsland, Texas, and enjoys baking, journaling, and spending time with friends. A fun fact about her is that she spends her summers as a camp counselor. Zac Gilbertson

Zac Gilbertson is beginning his senior year at UNT as a Music Education major and Latin minor. Zac is originally from San Antonio, Texas, and his interests include playing basketball, Latin, playing viola, and keeping up with UNT athletics. Zac's fun fact is Go Mean Green! Katie Daugherty

Katie Daugherty is beginning her sophomore year at UNT as a horn player and Music Education major. From The Woodlands, Texas, Katie's interests include volunteering and horses. A fun fact about Katie is that her favorite animal would be a three-way tie between lions, horses, and elephants. Katie's pronouns are she/her.

Daniel Fletcher

Daniel Fletcher is one of the Student Assistants for Library Management, and is entering his third year as a flute performance and music education double major. In addition to his Student Assistant role, Daniel is also a Flute Section Leader. From Riverton, Utah, Daniel enjoys reading; He has a personal library in his room. A fun fact about Daniel is that it his 11th year of being an eagle, and the fourth school he's attended that has an eagle mascot! Daniel's pronouns are he/him.

Maddie Genuardi

Madeleine Genuardi is about to begin her third year at UNT as an Integrative Studies major with a minor in Music. From Beaumont, Texas, Maddie enjoys geocaching, photography, taking care of succulents (although she admits she mostly ends up killing them), playing with her dogs, and powerlifting. A fun fact about Maddie is that she makes a lot of her own clothes! Maddie's pronouns are she/her. 

Sophia Vomvoris

Sophia Vomvoris is our Uniform Manager and a trumpet Squad Leader. From Waxahachie, Texas, Sophia will be beginning her junior year at UNT as a Political Science major with a minor in Public Administration and Spanish. Outside of GB, Sophia's interests include participating in musical theater, singing, and spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about Sophia is that her family is from Greece and has ancestry that traces all the way back to Spartans! Sophia's pronouns are she/her.

Dominique Cox, Field Technician

Dominique Cox is beginning her second year as a field tech and her third year as a double major in clarinet performance and music education. From Northern Virginia, Dominique enjoys rock climbing, gardening, and anything outdoors-related. A fun fact about her is that she has been speaking German since she was four years old. Dominique's pronouns are she/her. 

Bobby Doherty, Field Technician

Bobby Doherty is entering his third year at UNT as a music education major and tuba player. From Azle, Texas, Bobby enjoys drum corps (Academy, Carolina Crown) and making music with friends. A fun fact about Bobby is that he has a twin brother! Bobby's pronouns are he/him.

Rodolfo Mireles-Manzano, Field Technician

Rodolfo (Rudy) Mireles-Manzano is beginning his third year at UNT as a music education major and clarinet player. From Brownsville, Texas, Rudy's interests include video games, internet media, and tacos. A fun fact about Rudy is that he is a singer and bass player for a South Texas rock band, and was even interviewed a few times! Rudy's pronouns are he/him.

Caelan Spidle, Field Technician

Caelan Spidle is beginning his fourth year as a clarinetist and music education major. Caelan is from Austin, Texas, and enjoys TV, video games, and writing music outside of Green Brigade. Emily Tsuhako is a flute section leader beginning her third year as a music education major at UNT with concentrations in flute and voice. From Maui, Hawaii, Emily enjoys singing, Hula, and Kajukenbo. A fun fact about Emily is that she has a clear view of the West Maui Mountains and Haleakala from her home! Emily's pronouns are she/her. 

Hanna Chaisson, Squad Leader

Hanna Chaisson is a flute squad leader entering her sophomore year at UNT as a Music Education major. From Prairieville, Louisiana, her interests include playing flute, reading, spending time with family and friends, and making every moment count. A fun fact about her is that she is a huge history buff! She is hoping to pursue a minor in history. Hanna's pronouns are she/her. 

Kaylee Donahoo- Flute QL
Kaylee Donahoo, Squad Leader

Kaylee Donahoo is a Flute Squad leader, and entering her 3rd year at UNT as a Music Education major. Kaylee is from Frisco, Texas, and enjoys playing flute and piano, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, watching Marvel movies, and jumping horses. Kaylee is a member of Beta Gamma Omega, and a fun fact about her is that she was a gymnast and softball player for 8 years! Kaylee's pronouns are she/her. 

Audrey Gates, Squad Leader

Audrey Gates is a flute squad leader beginning her sophomore year as a Music Education major at UNT. From Albequerque, New Mexico, Audrey is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, Ellen DeGeneres enthusiast, beginning tennis player, proficient in Minecraft, fan of the musical Hamilton, and aspiring beat-boxer. Some fun facts about Audrey are that she has a twin and has never caught a fish. Audrey's pronouns are she/her.

Sydney Ramos, Section Leader

Sydney Ramos is a clarinet section leader beginning her second year as a music education major at UNT. From Corpus Christi, she enjoys watching movies, binging Netflix, playing Switch games, and playing piano. A fun fact about her is that she has two really adorable dogs. Erin Smith is a clarinet section leader beginning her second year at UNT as a music major. Erin is from League City, Texas, and enjoys listening to music and learning new instruments. A fun fact about Erin is that she has a twin brother. Erin's pronouns are she/her.

Mauricio Orellana, Squad Leader

Mauricio Orellana is a clarinet squad leader entering his sophomore year as a Music Education major. From Austin, Texas, Mauricio enjoys traveling, running, binging tv shows, and spending time with his friends and family. A fun fact about Mauricio is that he enjoys wearing Birkenstocks and Chacos all the time. Mauricio's pronouns are he/him.

Nicholas Pfister, Squad Leader

Nicholas Pfister is a clarinet squad leader entering his second year at UNT as a Music Education major with a minor in Spanish. From Bridge City, Texas, Nicholas enjoys playing instruments other than clarinet, binging Netflix shows, and going out to eat with his friends. A fun fact about Nicholas is that he was originally supposed to play tuba in sixth grade because he was tall, but chose clarinet at the last minute! Nicholas's pronouns are he/him.

Sam Hightower, Section Leader

Sam Hightower is a saxophone section leader beginning his second year at UNT as a Music Education major. From Austin, Texas, Sam enjoys going floating, camping, and watching/reading Harry Potter. A fun fact about Sam is that he has an enormous, chunky, lovable chihuahua named Yoko. Sam's pronouns are he/him.

Chase Scelsi, Section Leader

Chase Scelsi is a saxophone section leader starting his third year at UNT as a double major in music education and jazz studies. From Austin, Texas, Chase likes playing pool and jamming with friends. A fun fact about Chase is that he thinks pineapple pizza is perfectly valid. Chase's pronouns are he/him.

Alyssa Clowdus, Squad Leader

Clouds is a squad leader in the saxophone section. She is a third year Human Development and Family Studies major. From Mountain Springs, TX, her interests include putting pineapple on pizza, hanging out with her dog Duchess, and going country dancing with friends. A fun fact about her is that she spends her summers as a camp counselor and can eat an entire bag of Oreos all by herself. Alyssa's pronouns are she/her.

Dawson Hassell, Squad Leader

Dawson Hassell is a saxophone squad leader entering his third year as a Music Education major. From Mansfield, Texas, Dawson's interests outside of GB include soccer, working out, drinking coffee, playing pool at the Syndicate, hanging out with friends, playing instruments, and even more soccer. A fun fact about Dawson is that he can and will talk your ear off about Manchester United, which is his favorite thing outside of music. Dawson's pronouns are he/him.

From Hutto, Texas, Zach's interests outside of GB include skateboarding, video games, basketball, and football. A fun fact about Zach is that he can dunk! Zach's pronouns are he/him.

Trumpet

Caleb Belonga, Section Leader

Caleb Belonga is a trumpet section leader, beginning his third year at UNT as a music education major. Caleb is from Prosper, Texas, and enjoys doing outdoor sports like ultimate frisbee and basketball, as well as playing pool. A fun fact about Caleb is that he loves bread. One time, he ate 15 rolls from Texas Roadhouse in one sitting. That's roughly 3300 calories. Caleb's pronouns are he/him.

Andrew Hearn is a trumpet section leader going into his third year as a Music Education major. From Austin, Texas, he enjoys baking, cooking, and playing board games. A fun fact about Andrew is that he once drove all the way from Austin to Vancouver (and back)! Andrew's pronouns are he/him.

Kevin Culver, Squad Leader

Kevin Culver is one of our trumpet squad leaders beginning his third year at UNT as a Music Education major. From Rowlett, Texas, Kevin enjoys video games, movies, animals, and history. A fun fact about him is that he was born in Wenatchee, Washington. Kevin's pronouns are he/him.

Gabriel Garza, Squad Leader

Gabriel is one of our trumpet squad leaders. Gabriel is from Houston, Texas, and will be entering his third year at UNT as a History major with a Music minor. Sabrina Allard is a mellophone section leader and is beginning her third year as a music education major and horn player at UNT. From Katy Texas, Sabrina loves watching all kinds of movies, practicing her instruments, and even sometimes baking. A fun fact about Sabrina is that she loves going mining and digging for minerals and fossils out in the field. She's been to Arkansas to dig quartz, Wyoming for fish fossils, and in different places in Texas for Granite and Llanite! Sabrina's pronouns are she/her.

Tyler Hudson is one of the mellophone squad leaders and will be beginning his second year at UNT as a Music Education major and flute player. From Cincinnati, Ohio, Tyler enjoys reading, bullet journalling, coffee, brunch, cats, yoga, and Star Trek. Maya Schmidt, Squad Leader

Maya Schmidt is one of the mellophone squad leaders. From San Antonio, Texas, Maya is beginning her sophomore year at UNT as a music education major, and her interests include photography, cats, and TikTok. A fun fact about Maya is that she used to be an all-star cheerleader when she was little and can still tumble! Maya's pronouns are she/her.

Samuel Shapiro, Section Leader

Samuel Shapiro is a trombone section leader entering his third year as a Music Education major. From Sterling, Virginia, Sam enjoys making Green Brigade memes and chilling with the boys. A fun fact about Sam is that he is an Australian citizen. Sam's pronouns are he/him.

Matthew Wood, Section Leader

Matthew Wood is a section leader for the trombone section. From Grapevine, Texas, Matthew is entering his second year as a Music Education major at UNT. Matthew's interests include sports, outdoors, and cooking, and a fun fact about him is that his favorite ice cream flavor is Cookie Dough. Matthew's pronouns are he/him.

Matthew Garcia is a trombone squad leader and will be entering his junior year at UNT as an Emergency Management major. From Diamond Bar, California, Matthew's interests include cooking, history, taking train rides, and fishing. A fun fact about Matthew is that he is able to converse with others in French. Hayden Drew, Section Leader

Hayden Drew is a baritone section leader starting his third year in college as a Music Education major and euphonium player. From Houston, Texas, Hayden's interests include podcasting, cooking, and playing board games. A fun fact about Hayden is that his spirit Pokemon is Squirtle! Hayden's pronouns are he/him.

Finley Muela, Squad Leader

Finley Muela is a squad leader for the baritone section. From Leander, Texas, Finley is beginning their sophomore year at UNT as a Music Education major. Finley's interests include skateboarding, playing bass guitar, and drum corps, and a fun fact about Finley is that they are a Bluecoat and have a pet lizard. Finley's pronouns are they/them.

Blake Martin is a tuba section leader going into his third year at UNT as a double major in Music Education and Electrical Engineering. Outside of GB Blake enjoys playing games, and a fun fact about him is that he has a video of him falling with his sousaphone at a bowl game. Blake's pronouns are he/him.

McKenzie Moore, Squad Leader

Mckenzie Moore is squad leader for the tuba section, about to begin her junior year at UNT as a Music Education major. From Galveston, Texas, Mckenzie's interests outside of GB include repairing furniture. A fun fact about Mckenzie is that if you Google "tuba girl" a picture of her shows up as a result! Gretchen Casel-Cymbal tech
Gretchen Casel

Gretchen Casel is entering her third year as a music education major. Her primary instrument is clarinet and she is originally from Southlake, Texas. Outside of GB, Gretchen serves as the head drum major for Spirit of Atlanta drum corps and teaches cymbals and visual for a local indoor percussion group. She loves coffee, meals with friends, and spending time with her dog, Lucky. Gretchen’s pronouns are she/her.

Matt Hammond is entering his 4th year as a percussionist at UNT. From Houston, Texas, his first two years were spent as a member of the bass line and he is excited to return as the bass tech for the second time. Outside of GB, Matt enjoys playing video games, teaching drums, and watching the Food Network with his friends. A fun fact about Matt is that he is a huge fan of the reigning Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. Matt's pronouns are he/him.

Seth Richburg is the section leader for the Front Ensemble and will be entering his third year at UNT as a Music Major. Tenor Tech

Patrick Tierney- Tenor Tech
Patrick Tierney

Patrick Tierney is entering his 3rd year as a percussionist and music education major. From Plano, Texas, his first two years consisted of being a member of the quad line, including the 2019 Quad Ensemble which earned 1st place at PASIC. He now serves as the quad tech. Outside of GB, he enjoys hiking, arranging and composition, and playing basketball. A fun fact about Patrick is that he has a hamster named D’brickashaw. Patrick’s pronouns are he/him.
